Sponsor the Festival
The Idaho International Choral Festival relies totally on donations, both in services and in dollars. More than three quarters of the total budget comes in the form of “in-kind contributions,” which include food and housing for the choirs, transportation, performance venues, sound systems and a large variety of volunteer workers. The assistance of Idaho State University and the City of Pocatello are essential, and the festival could not be a reality without their participation.
Article II of the Articles of Incorporation of the Idaho International Choral Festival, Inc. states, “The Corporation is a nonprofit corporation.” The Internal Revenue Service has granted the IICF a 501(c) (3) designation as of May 8, 2002. (ID # 75076)
The Idaho International Choral Festival is an organization composed of a diverse group of individuals from the Greater Pocatello Community who are committed to uniting people of different races, cultures and backgrounds in a choral event. Choral groups from around the globe join to bring their respective talents and native music to create an atmosphere of uplifting cultural harmony.
The joy of singing with a variety of groups from around the world and of learning about their music and arts; the experience of living with families from another country, namely Pocatello, Idaho, USA; and the exchange of cultures inherent in music festivals makes this undertaking not only a wonderful entertainment adventure for all the choirs that participate in the Idaho International Choral Festival, but also, in a very positive way, leads toward world peace and understanding.
The board of directors of the Idaho International Choral Festival actively seeks grants from any and every organization interested in supporting music, choral music, the arts, cultural exchange, and the enhancement or world peace and understanding.
